Year of the Fan at Anime Expo

Carpeting, á la carte ticket options, and even free entry. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Anime Expo, and they're celebrating the occasion by showing fans just how much they love them.

This year the Exhibit Hall will be carpeted, much to the delight of your feet. But what if you can't afford to go? There's good news for you - Anime Expo will be offering free entry to the Exhibit Hall after 3:33PM throughout the 4-day weekend. If you're strapped for cash or have never been to Anime Expo (or even a convention for that matter), this is a great chance to jump in and see what it's all about.

Some new ticket options are available too for those interested in attending only certain events. While admission into the Exhibit Hall is free after 3:33PM, there's going to be so much to do that you might want to devote an entire day - and luckily you can! Dance tickets are also available for each night as well:

Exhibit Hall Only (Single Day)
Buy between June 15-30: $20
Buy between July 1-3: $25

Dance Only (June 30th)
Buy between June 15-29: $5
Buy on June 30: $10

Dance Only (July 1-3; Single Day Passes)
Buy between June 15-30: $20
Buy between July 1-3: $25


Traditional 1, 2 and 4 day passes are still an option for those wanting the full Anime Expo experience, which include entry into the Exhibit Hall and dances.
