  • Voice Actress Cassandra Hodges Passes Away at Age 28

Cassandra Hodges, the loveable voice actress, model, and all around sweet girl has unfortunately just passed away.

Cassandra gave life to so many characters over the years, including Gotanda and Yuku in Hell Girl and Camembert in Glass Fleet. She also lent her voice in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Hetalia: Axis Powers, and Mushishi, among many other FUNimation titles.

    From Motaku,
Cassandra Hodges got her start in modeling when she was 16, long before discovering voice acting. She went to Full Sail Film School in Orlando as a film and sound tech, and has worked on commercials, runways, and even the Macy’s Day Parade around Florida. She appeared in Adventures in Anime with Jeff Nimoy and Quinton Flynn as her hilarious self and has appeared and done voice work for independent films. She has played many smaller roles in anime such as Glass Fleet as Camembert, Hell Girl as Gotanda and Yuku, Mushi-shi, School Rumble, Solty Rei, and Stigma as Furnando. In between her modeling and voice talent, she somehow has time to be a pet nurse and play lots of D&D.
It's always sad to see someone so young and kind leave so soon, but no matter what you believe in she'll always be alive in some form so long as she's not forgotten. So watch one of her anime this weekend, and remember to live each day to the fullest. If today was your last day alive, would you have done anything different? If so, then start making the change right now and follow your dreams because no one is guaranteed a tomorrow.

Details of Cassandra's passing are not available at this time.
